Criminal activity
Internal reporting channel
Whistleblowing Channel
A confidential channel for reporting actual or suspected wrongdoing, misconduct or legal breaches connected to Mercuryo, including MoneyChurros in Spain where Spanish whistleblowing law applies.
Report a concern
What you can report
Financial crime
Fraud, bribery, corruption or AML/CTF matters.
Regulatory & legal
Regulatory, legal, privacy or security breaches.
Public interest
Danger to health and safety or other public-interest risks.
Workplace & conduct
Serious misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation or abuse of authority where linked to a possible legal breach.
Concealment
Attempts to conceal wrongdoing.
Who can report
Anyone connected to Mercuryo, including the MoneyChurros Spain implementation, can report good-faith concerns. This is the public entry point for the internal reporting channel, not a marketing, customer support or ordinary HR grievance page.
What is and isn’t whistleblowing
Usually handled by HR or another internal channel
May go through the whistleblowing channel
If in doubt, submit through the whistleblowing channel. It will be routed to the right people.
How to raise a concern
Until a dedicated provider portal is available, reports may be submitted through the temporary contact channel below. The reporting form is optional but recommended. It helps structure the information and can be attached to your email.
Reports may also be submitted in writing. As MoneyChurros works remotely and across locations, requests for a verbal communication or meeting should be made through the same contact point. The company can then arrange a secure format where required under applicable law.
Confidentiality and your protection

Confidential
Reports are handled confidentially and shared only with authorised people who need to assess, manage or investigate the concern. Your identity is protected in accordance with applicable law.

Anonymous if you choose
You may report anonymously. If you share your identity, it stays confidential and is disclosed only to authorised people where necessary, or where required by law.

Protected in good faith
You do not need concrete evidence to raise a concern. Good-faith reports based on reasonable belief are protected against retaliation. Knowingly false reports may have legal consequences. Protection may also cover people who assist the reporter or are connected with them.

Who handles it
Reports are initially assessed by Compliance or the designated channel function, or by the appointed provider or channel manager where applicable.
What happens after you report
Acknowledgement
Your report is acknowledged by Compliance or the designated channel function within 7 calendar days, unless this would compromise confidentiality or no contact details are available.
Assessment
We assess it and provide feedback, if contact details are available, within the applicable three-month period, which may be extended in especially complex cases where permitted by applicable law.
Outcome
We follow up on the outcome or explain why no further action is being taken.
External reporting channels
Where internal reporting is not practical, safe or preferred, reports may be made directly to:
- The Autoridad Independiente de Protección del Informante (AIPI)
- The competent regional authority
- The Public Prosecutor
- Judicial authorities
- The competent sectoral regulator
Doing so does not affect your protection under Directive (EU) 2019/1937 or applicable national whistleblowing laws, including Law 2/2023 where applicable.
Confidential channel
Report a concern
Reports can be made confidentially, and anonymously if you choose.
A dedicated whistleblowing provider portal will be added here once available.
